I’m Deb from New Jersey. Welcome to my world at Surviving NJ!

On my blog, I talk about things that amuse me, frustrate me, my family, New Jersey and general life. I spent the better part of my life across the bridge in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

When I married my husband, I moved over to Hunterdon County, NJ. (thus, “Surviving New Jersey”)

I’ve got 2 teenage boys, 3 dogs, a cat, and an incredible husband that I’m absolutely crazy in love with. I’ve been blessed with a wonderful life.

I’m in my 40’s and I love getting older, because with it comes a confidence. I love being more comfortable in my own skin. It’s been a journey, but it’s kind of cool to just be “okay” with who I am and where I’m at.

I’m an upbeat person, with a wicked sense of humor, and a quick wit! In feels like there are days where I just want to ramble, other times I’m silly and playful…the last few years though, with writing so much – sometimes I lost the passion in my writing, and I’m looking to express myself better once again…I want writing to be fun again.

Thanks for taking the time to drop by, and I hope you’ll return again!

Cheers, Deb
