NJ’s Nervous Times
I was listening to the news on my drive tonight, and they were saying that New Jersey is now the 8th highest state with foreclosures. It’s heartbreaking to know so many people are losing their homes.
With constant news about the employment rate, you can’t help but be concerned. Luckily, my husband is still employed, but he had to switch industries, the pay scale is different. At this point, you end up being happy just having work.
Stocks are on a rollercoaster ride, houses are sitting on the market not moving, and homeowners are struggling to make payments. Property taxes are huge, and of course we won’t get that extra rebate, you know the one where they raised our state sales tax that extra 1%, and part of it would go to homeowners to help with taxes? Yeah, kiss that good-bye, but let’s be honest, did you really think you would see it?
